The luxury brand, Ritz Carlton, at the beginning of 2019 is going to have a legendary service: the company will offer a bespoke cruise line of three superyachts. Each yacht can offer accommodations for 298 guests, 149 suites, each with own balcony and numerous duplex penthouses. The Ritz Carlton luxury yachts feature an amazing design with modern interiors, luxury amenities like the famous Spa and lot of activities and entertainers like local chefs, artists and musicians.

The voyages last 7 to 10 days will serve expected destinations such as the Mediterranean and Caribbean, as well as Colombia’s Cartagena and other intimate, exclusive destinations, such as Capri and Portofino, that are usually inaccessible to larger cruise ships. Announcing the initiative, Ritz-Carlton president and COO Herve Humler said: “The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will have a distinctive personality and the vessels are sure to be true stand outs in some of the most glamorous ports around the world.”
Don’t exist information about the package prices yet but the reservations are going to open in May 2018 and the company’s claim that it makes Ritz Carlton the only provider of luxury accommodation on land and at the sea. The potential for crossover into the superyacht market is undeniable as this type of cruise would arguably act as a possible stepping stone into yacht charter or ownership. The industry should look to how it can benefit from the marketing experience and know-how that a brand such as Ritz-Carlton can utilize to get UHNWIs experiencing luxury on the water.
