This piece is said to be transformable, because the central piece, a pure white diamond graded as a D Flawless (meaning that the diamond has no internal or external inclusions) can be removed from the bracelet and used as a ring, by inserting it into a bespoke ring shank. It is then possible to insert the diamond watch face into the bracelet and turning it into a watch. It is this pear-shaped masterpiece that can be worn as a watch dial in a highly architectural diamond bracelet, or can be taken out and worn as a ring.
This piece is the most expensive three-in-one jewel that has ever been created with the price of $40 million.
“The Fascination is an outstanding piece, carefully crafted so it can be worn in a number of different ways – adding a touch of magic to the jewel,” said Laurence Graff, who played an integral role in designing and creating the piece. “The Fascination is truly unique and joins our roll call of important jewels, which are among the rarest and most sought after stones ever uncovered. It is a true celebration of our diamond mastery.”
It can be seen at Hall 1.1, stand D51.
